Chris Dakers is the owner and principal performer at Waiter Surprise.  Chris saw the concept of singing waiters many years ago and has used his vast knowledge within the wedding industry to perfect the ultimate show. Although the element of surprise is important Chris believes that the performance success depends on the talent and vocal ability of the waiters he employs. Chris has always prided himself on offering the highest quality of performance and staying one step ahead of the rest of the industry.

Chris is a talented vocalist able to perform any genre. He has had a long and prestigious career spanning over twenty years. He has won many awards over the years including, band of the year, solo artist of the year and most recent being from The Silver Award from North East Brides for wedding entertainment provider. His vast and varied experience makes him the consummate professional. Over the years he has toured all over the UK and Scandinavia performing with bands, and as a solo artist in many prestigious venues including cruise ships, major sporting venues and hotels. He has performed residencies with Newcastle United and Newcastle Falcons.

Chris regularly also performs with his band, The Fabulous Daker Boys, who are a function band made up of some of the best respected musicians in the area.  Their versatility means that they can perform a bespoke show based on the presences of the client. They have performed at festivals, corporate events, weddings and functions.

Chris and his 'cheeky chappy' personality win the hearts of all his clients. Chris is also an excellent compere and has worked events for Freddie Flintoff and many others.
